FLAXSEED PORRIDGE

Kick start the morning with a healthy and delicious breakfast that'll work on the busiest mornings.

Flaxseeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, fiber, and lignans (a type of phytoestrogen). Ground flaxseed helps for optimal lignan absorption and to ease digestion.

INGREDIENTS:

6 tbsp - flaxseeds 

200ml - Fermentful original kefir

1 tbsp - coconut sugar or honey

For topping:

1 handful of fresh berries

1 handful nuts (we prefer slightly roasted walnuts)

2 juicy dates, sliced

​

*this porridge recipe can be customized to suit your taste buds. Feel free to mix up fruits, nuts, spices, and superfood powders to create new flavors and boost up nutrition. Let your imagination fly!

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. place flaxseeds in a coffee grinder/spice blender and blend it to powder;

  2. mix grounded flaxseeds with Fermentful original kefir and sweetener; 

  3. mix well until you reach desired consistency without any lumps;

  4. leave at room temperature for 5 minutes;

  5. serve with walnuts, some fresh berries, and sliced dates on the top.
